Pepperl+Fuchs’ Digital Expo Explores the Future of Automation Technology

Pepperl+Fuchs and its subsidiaries VMT and ecom will host a virtual trade fair April 19 to 23, 2021, on its existing event platform, www.your-future-automation.com. The event format, say company officials, is less like a conference and more like a technology fair, with a focus on user interaction and application solutions and including a virtual showroom containing detailed, interactive 3D models. Virtual exhibits will feature videos, expert interviews, technical white papers and more.

Among technical highlights: PXL+ Technology from Pepperl+Fuchs and its subsidiary VMT, which can be used to create 3D point clouds with as much sensor data—pixel plus information—as required. Data indicates the color, temperature and surface properties of a scanned object.
