The Robotic Industries Association (RIA), Ann Arbor, MI, has awarded RIA Certified Robot Integrator status to two Midwest companies, bringing the total number of certified integrators to 10. Freshly certified: QComp Technologies, Inc., Greenville, WI; and Wynright Robotics Solutions, Elk Grove Village, IL. Integrators earn the certification after undergoing a rigorous on-side audit, safety training and hands-on testing of key personnel.
Future Products, Clawson, MI, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 recertification. The firm manufactures precision die tooling and machined components.
National Manufacturing Co., Inc., Chatham, NJ, a contract manufacturer of precision deep- and shallow-drawn metal stampings and enclosures, has been registered to ISO 13485 (for the design and manufacture of medical devices) and AS9100 (the quality-management system for the aerospace industry). Spearheading the firm’s quality-management efforts is a team that includes certified Black and Green Belts, and ASQ-certified personnel.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council has certified metalformer Clips & Clamps Industries, Plymouth, MI, as a Women’s Business Enterprise. Certification, which requires a meticulous in-depth review of the business and a site inspection, confirms that a business is at least 51-percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. Clips & Clamps manufactures metal stampings, fourslide products, brackets, washers, wire forms and more.
