Wintriss Controls Group showcases its new ShopFloorConnect Version 6.0 OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) and data-collection software as well as its SmartPac Pro press-automation controller.
ShopFloorConnect collects downtime and production-efficiency data from every machine in the manufacturing operation, displays it in real time, and produces manufacturing reports, including detailed OEE reports in a variety of formats. The software identifies and quantifies excessive production losses and bottlenecks, and can increase manufacturing capacity and profitability by reducing machine downtime by as much as 70 percent, according to company officials. Version 6.0 offers a new design format for rapid, simple access to all data, and provides new features for user-friendly reporting and dashboard customization. Other new features: flexible scheduling capabilities and machine-interface enhancements. And, users now can improve their machines’ OEE by tracking reasons for scrap.
The SmartPac Pro features a large, simple-to-use touchscreen interface, user-configurable dashboards, virtually unlimited tool-setup storage and the ability to share setups among networked SmartPac Pro units.
The controller’s tool-summary layout enables users to view the entire contents of each programmed setup on a single screen, providing the ability to place notes for the job. And, all content can be exported to a USB disk as comma-separated values. Users also can create custom home-screen dashboards to display often-used information. These dashboards can be named and saved in the favorites menu, and quickly recalled at any time.
SmartPac Pro architecture supports connectivity features such as remote access from PCs and mobile devices, email messaging, and compatibility with ShopFloorConnect.
