Burloak Tool & Die Ltd., Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has changed its name to Mainway Metalworks Inc., a legal name change only, the firm notes, with no restructuring or change in ownership. Acquired by Summit Ridge Capital in February 2021, the firm acquired Armactool in December 2022 and then acquired CadTek early in 2023.

“We’re excited to bring this new brand to life, with decades of pre-existing technical underpinnings,” says Mainway president and CEO Sean Brown. “Mainway instantly becomes a trusted national brand to turn to for North American-built tooling and stamping for the appliance, automotive, military, and other demanding industries.”

The firm, which remains backed by Summit Ridge Capital, was founded in 1979 and is ISO9001:2015 certified.
