PennEngineering Expands Operations in Ireland

PennEngineering, provider of fastening technologies, has expanded operations in Galway, Ireland, with a new 80,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing and research facility. The new facility is the primary manufacturing site for PEM self-clinching fastener products sold throughout Europe. In addition, the site houses a newly created research and development center and an application engineering center providing all-encompassing custom fastener and installation design and test capabilities. The expansion raises the total footprint of PennEngineering operations in Galway to more than 200,000 sq. ft. The new site employs 200.
