Prima North America, Inc., Chicopee, MA, introduces a laser-cutting system that offers significantly increased productivity for 2D and 3D cutting.

The Domino Evoluzione 2D/3D system reportedly offers the highest speed available in its category, with high acceleration on the x and y axis, for high-speed 2D cutting and optimal productivity, in addition to an enhanced z-axis height for improved 3D cutting. Domino Evoluzione also features optimum machine accuracy, resulting in significantly improved cut quality, according to company officials. A new high-speed CNC control provides enhanced graphics for user-friendly programming. In addition, a quick piercing function reduces piercing time by more than 25 percent.
