At FABTECH 2023 in Chicago, MC Machinery will showcase its new FV five-axis fiber laser (shown here), featuring its fastest-ever processing speed. The machine uses an innovative double-rail gantry motion system for high-speed, accurate cutting and 4.0G H-axis acceleration for high-speed height sensing. Other features include an open-architecture fixture table, magnetic crash protection, and the advanced M800 control system, which improves processing speed and accuracy. New control features include a customizable home page, expanded cutting-condition library and robust maintenance screens.Other booth highlights include the 12-kW and new 20-kW GX-F Advanced artificial-intelligence-enabled fiber laser, and the latest in press-brake and laser-automation systems, including the SmartFlex Element Type R automation system and the ASTES4 high-speed Advanced laser-sorting system.Among the Mitsubishi press brakes and press-brake automation displayed and available for live demonstrations: Diamond Series BH hybrid press brake with automatic tool changer and Videre digital operating support system; Diamond Series BB electric press brake with Iris Plus angle-measurement system; Diamond Series BB with Fast Bend robotic cell; and Adira PA Plus hydraulic press brake.
