Coe Shipping Four Straighteners/Reels to Metal Flow

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, has shipped the first of four orders for new straightener/reel combinations to Metal Flow of Holland, MI, a provider of deep-drawn stamped components to the automotive industry. Each of the sets consists of a Coe model 350 18-in. power straightener and a heavy-duty 18-in. coil reel with 8,000-lb. capacity. The straighteners can handle steel yield strengths to 40,000 psi in thicknesses from 0.030 to 0.250 in. The equipment has a payoff rate to 95 ft./min.
Two of the sets are replacing existing equipment and two will be paired with new Aida press lines being installed at Metal Flow. All of the orders feature centralized controls for the straightener/ reel combination.
