Strip-Measurement System Slated for Voestalpine

Voestalpine Precision Strip has ordered a third Shapeline 500 flatness-measurement system for a hardening line at its mill in Munkfors, Sweden. It will be the 10th Shapeline system supplied globally to the company.

The main application for this system: optimize process and quality for primarily valve steel. It will be equipped with Shapeline’s unique double-line laser projector. 

Shapeline AB, Linköping, Sweden, develops markets and implements in-line measurement systems for flatness measurements on plate and strip products within the global steel and metals industry.
