Sequential-numbering tool for turret presses

Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, MN, will showcase the new Mate Enumerator sequential-numbering tool, designed to stamp sequential serial numbers, dates and codes on fabricated parts. This tool enables the sequential numbering, to six digits long, within the punching process, eliminating the need for complex machine programming or costly secondary operations.

The Mate Enumerator operates in two modes: sequential number mode, where the tool advances by one number for each complete stroke the tool makes; and fixed number mode, used to create fixed numbers such as date, batch number or part number. The Enumerator tool operates on any thick-turret punch press with a 3.5-in. D station.
