PTM Transitions to Next Gen, Now WBENC-Certified

On September 23, 2015, metal stamper PTM Corp., Ira, MI, received certification from the Womens Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a women-owned business, and can service customers using its minority status. The certification also applies to Modified Technologies, Inc. (MTI), Fairhaven, MI. Both companies are owned by the daughters of recently-resigned company president Charles T. Give a Presentation at Great Designs in Steel

The Steel Market Development Institute has issued its Call for Abstracts for Great Designs in Steel, slated for May 11, 2016, in Livonia, MI. The event highlights engineering, design, technology and policy information related to steel-industry trends and applications in new cars and trucks. New Owner for Aro Metal Stamping

Aro Metal Stamping, Inc., Roselle, IL, has been acquired by Erica Wiegel, who is serving as president. Wiegel, an engineer, is no stranger to the metalforming industry, having guided the family business, Wiegel Tool Works Inc., Wood Dale, IL. She purchased Aro from Tony Dupasquier, who is staying on board through 2016 to assist with the transition. Wiegel still retains partial ownership of Wiegel Tool Works.
