Bodycote Acquires Curtis-Wright Business Unit

UK-based thermal-processing services provider Bodycote plc, which operates 170 facilities in 27 countries, including 35 in the United States, has acquired the heattreatment business of Curtis-Wright Corp., Parsippany, NJ.
The acquisition comprises nine U.S. metal-treatment sites, including three in Wichita, KS, that provide the firm a major presence in what it calls a “strategically important aerospace-industry hub.” Also included in the acquisition is a treatment facility in Lafayette, LA, providing access to the oil and gas market.Technologies: Finishing
