D.A. Stuart Co., Warrenville, IL, offers its Drawsol line of lubricants that includes products developed to reduce the abrasive effects of friction that occur during the forming of high-strength steel, while at the same time imparting corrosion protection for the workpiece. In addition, many of the company’s lubricants allow users to weld through the film without prior cleaning. Formed parts then can be easily cleaned in an alkaline wash solution prior to painting.
