Abstracts Wanted for AISI Great Designs in Steel 2005

Thursday, May 20, 2004

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) is inviting automotive designers and engineers, Tier One and Two automotive suppliers and academia to submit presentation abstracts for Great Designs in Steel 2005. The annual event assists automotive engineers and suppliers in using advanced high-strength steel technologies to design and build safe, affordable, efficient and environmentally responsible passenger vehicles. Abstracts should be e-mailed to AISI’s Deanna Lorincz, lorinczd@autosteel.org, for committee review and approval. The 2004 all-day seminar, held last February in Livonia, MI, attracted 1210 attendees. The 2005 event again will offer track sessions with presentations given by North American steel-industry representatives and case histories provided by automotive designers and engineers.
