Patrick (Pat) Brutto is Founder and Technical Application Specialist for Faith-Full MWF Consulting, providing services to all segments of the metalworking fluids value chain. Prior to founding Faith-Full MWF Consulting, Pat spent the majority of his career with ANGUS Chemical Company, a producer of specialty additives for MWFs and many other markets, serving mainly in R&D and global technical service roles. He also spent time with Hangsterfer's Laboratories, a New Jersey based producer of MWFs, serving in a field technical service role. Pat holds a M.Sc. degree in chemistry from DePaul University Chicago, is an STLE-certified metalworking fluid specialist (CMFS) and serves on STLE's board of directors.

John Burke, Global Director of Engineering for Houghton International, has more than 47 years of experience in the metalworking-fluid industry. He is the lead author of the chapters "Waste Treatment" and "Recycling of Metalworking Fluids" in the Third Edition of the book Metalworking Fluids. John has been an instructor for the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Metalworking Fluid Education Courses for the past 27 years. He is a Certified Metalworking Fluid Specialist (CMFS) and an STLE Fellow, and has more than 90 patents worldwide. John has won awards from the Independent Lubricant Manufactures Association (ILMA), STLE, and Ford Motor Company, and has also received Governors' Awards from the States of Ohio and Tennessee, as well as an award from President George H. W. Bush at the White House in 1991.

Rick Butler is the R&D Manager of Metalworking Fluids at DuBois, Bedford Park, IL. He graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Chemistry, and has spent most of his career developing metalworking fluids. Prior to joining DuBois, Butler served as R&D Manager at Chemtool, Inc., analytical chemist at Fuchs, and Group Leader of Coolant Development at DA Stuart.

Rick has played an active role in STLE for most of his professional career, including serving as Metalworking National Section Chair and Condition Monitoring National Chair. He currently is Chairman of the Chicago Section, Vice Chairman of the National Education Metalworking Committee, and holds an STLE certification as a metalworking specialist. He also is a member of the ASTM E 34.50 committee, which addresses all metalworking related standards, and is active in the Society of Applied Spectroscopy.

Neil Canter received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 1983 and his BS in Chemistry in Brown University in 1978. He has been working in the metalworking fluid industry for over 30 years. Neil runs his own consulting company called Chemical Solutions. He specializes in commercial development, marketing, product development and regulatory support for the metalworking fluid industry. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, SAE and STLE. He is currently a contributing editor responsible for writing the monthly Tech Beat column in STLE's TLT magazine. Neil is a Certified Metalworking Fluid Specialist (CMFS) and also wrote the "Chemistry of Metalworking Fluids" chapter in the book Metalworking Fluids Third Edition. He is a member of the STLE Board of Directors, STLE MWF Steering Committee, STLE MWF Ed & Training Subcommittee and STLE Education Committee.

Ali Fallahiarezoodar is a sheetmetal-forming specialist, currently working as an advanced engineer at Shiloh industries, where he is involved in R&D projects in advanced metalforming technologies. He has a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Tabriz university and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a Ph.D. in manufacturing engineering from the Ohio State University. His expertise is in implementing new techniques for lightweighting, and his current mission is to investigate the new challenges in forming 3rd-generation high-strength steels and high-formability aluminum alloys.

As product manager for Fuchs Lubricants Company's Metalworking Lubricants, Chris Fette provides business-strategy and sales and technical support for lubricants used in forming metal components, for companies in the automotive, appliance, lawn and garden, and HVAC industries. Chris earned his BS Degree in Agricultural Sciences from South East Missouri State University. Prior to joining Fuchs in 1994, he worked in the agricultural industry. Chris joined Fuchs as a sales engineer specializing in lubricants for metal stamping, extrusion, cutting and grinding. He also has served as a sales manager for Fuchs' Southeast Territory.

For 24 years, Chris has pioneered work in the metalforming industry, developing an industry network to help him provide a holistic approach to resolve the challenges that metalformers face.

Tom Forsythe has extensive experience in chemistry and cleaning technology for manufacturing operations. He has expertise in the aerospace, automotive, electronics and semiconductor industries, in addition to being a thought leader in high-efficiency manufacturing applications employing "green" cleaning technology to meet or exceed customer requirements.

Forsythe holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics & Engineering from the US Naval Academy, is a designated Naval Aviator and Helicopter Pilot, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.

He started his civilian career in the industrial, high-tech cleaning world with W.R Grace where he led a team that launched the Daraclean products into the aerospace sector. He Joined Kyzen in its start-up days and currently serves as executive vice president. He has authored and presented technical papers on environmentally friendly manufacturing processes at prominent national and global forums for more than 25 years, and is well known as an active industry supporter focused on green cleaning technology. Among the trade organizations and industry education programs he has been involved with: SMTA, IPC, SEMI, STLE, PMPA and PMA.

Ted McClure is technical resources manager for SLC Testing Services / Sea-Land Chemical. He has spent more than 35 years formulating, testing and servicing metalforming lubricants. Before joining SLC Testing Services, he operated TribSys LLC, a consulting and testing contractor for industrial clients, including the AutoSteel Partnership Tribology of Advanced High Strength Steel team. He also has worked at several metalforming lubricant companies, responsible for technology management, R & D, technical services and quality. He has authored several technical publications including Chapter 72, Metalforming Lubricants, in the Tribology Data Handbook 2nd Edition.

McClure holds a CMFS certification, is the current Treasurer of the North American Deep Drawing Research Group (NADDRG), and is Past-Chairman of the Chicago Section of STLE.

Nate Moore is the maintenance and facilities manager at Talan Products Inc. He has spent more than 30 years in industrial maintenance, with the last 20 years in the metal stamping industry. In his current capacity Nate focuses on specifying and installing capital equipment, leading continuous improvement initiatives, plant safety monitoring and upgrades, and environmental sustainability.

Nate is a founding member of the Talan Products Green Team, where he has implemented new sustainability processes and incorporated new technologies and systems. In his current position at Talan Products, he led a team that successfully implemented numerous sustainability initiatives, including an LED lightning retrofit, HVAC upgrades, energy efficient compressed air-production, used-oil reclamation and reuse, and the installation of a water-treatment system. Over a 6-year period, Talan realized a 46 percent reduction in energy usage and a 19 percent reduction in natural-gas usage.

Nate is a graduate of numerous courses in sustainability, facility operations, and industrial maintenance. He also is a veteran of the US Navy, where he served as a nuclear electrician at multiple duty locations.
