The Metalforming Technology Webinar Series, conducted in Spanish, will arm senior Mexico business leaders and their key technical staff in Mexican facilities with the most current information on numerous technology trends in the metal forming industry.

PMA and MetalForming Mexico magazine are pleased to team up to help metal formers leverage growth in the Mexico market by hosting this webinar series, beginning on October 7 and ending on October 19. Topics include best practices for press-line setup and operation; ideal press- and die-maintenance practices and procedures; in-die processes such as tapping and clinching; quick-die-change technology and procedures; and best practices for computer modeling and simulation. The sessions, conducted in Spanish, will benefit company executives as well as engineers, technicians and operators.

Benjamin has more than 25 years of experience in the sheet metal tooling and forming industry, with expertise in cold-, hot- and hydroforming process validation. He started his career in the metals industry as a blacksmith at his family's company. Benjamin's first experience with the stamping industry came at the turn of this century, designing high-speed progressive dies for the electronic and medical products. He has been working for AutoForm since 2006, and currently serves as the technical manager at AutoForm México, where he started as a junior applications engineer. Benjamin's duties include giving commercial presentations and demos, implementing solutions, coordinating training, and providing support to customers. Benjamin has a Mechanical-Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Guadalajara and holds a master's degree in Mechatronics from the Fachhochschule Aachen.
