New Plating Line for Gatto Industrial Platers
February 1, 2017Comments
Gatto Industrial Platers, Inc., Chicago, IL, installed a new, larger zinc-nickel plating line. The line enables Gatto, a provider of zinc and zinc-nickel plating and aluminum chromating for the automotive, agricultural, electrical and railroad industries, to plate both large parts and assemblies as well as high-volume orders of smaller pieces. This added plating capacity also provides quicker turnaround times for customers.
The plating tank on the new line measures 30 in. wide and 60 in. deep, and its large size enables Gatto to plate parts and assemblies to 12 ft. long and weighing to 1800 lb.
