Inline Addition of Corrosion Inhibitor for Galvanized Welded Tube

After extensive testing against industry-standard coatings, Chemcoaters, Gary, IN, now can apply its specialty corrosion inhibitor, InterCoat ChemGuard, to galvanized welded-tube products.  Chemcoaters developed this specialized formula in conjunction with a local partner for inline application. InterCoat ChemGuard is able to chemically react with the galvanized surface and form a permanent, interreactive bond.

“We invested the necessary time at the customer’s production site, reviewing process parameters and comparing our product’s performance against industry benchmarks,” says Ted Jarosz, a consultant at Chemcoaters.  “We came up with a formulation that worked for the customer’s line requirements.”
