With the intent of raising awareness of robust work safety for metal processors, Kemper GmbH, headquartered in Vreden, Germany, and manufacturer of extraction and filter systems for the metal-processing industry, has launched www.safe-welding.com. 

Tightening of general requirements are forcing manufacturers to focus more strongly on work safety, and companies still have catching up to do when it comes to effective employee protection, according to Kemper officials. That is why the company is seeking to generate awareness about work safety among welders and employers. The portal includes subjects focusing on hazards that exist in welding and how they can be minimized. It also offers information on effective extraction and filter technology.
