Amada Acquires Miyachi Corp.

Miyachi Unitek Corp., Monrovia, CA, a manufacturer of resistance-welding and laser-processing equipment, has been acquired by Amada Co., Ltd., headquartered in Isehara, Kanagawa, Japan. Miyachi becomes a consolidated subsidiary of Amada.
