The Steel Market Development Institute has issued its Call for Abstracts for technical presentations at the 14th Annual Great Designs in Steel (GDIS) seminar, slated for Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Livonia, MI. The GDIS program features more than 35 technical presentations and 25 state-of-the-art displays, creating a must-attend forum for engineers interested in learning more about automotive steels.

Developers of the all-day multi-track GDIS program seek presentations on these and other topics: advanced high-strength steels, automotive safety and manufacturing technologies, while discussing steel’s lightweighting advantages, affordability, durability and sustainability. Submit abstracts (200-300 words), including title, author name(s) and contact information, by January 15 to Tamara Markarian (tmarkarian@steel.org).
