It provides enhanced mobility, reduced die changeover time and a large loading capacity, all in a relatively small size, according to company officials. The Power Pallet is designed to attach easily to a forklift, thus eliminating more than half the size and cost needed for the mobility of a typical die cart. Once on the forklift, the Power Pallet then is docked to the bolster and is ready to load and unload dies at the press with the push of a button, with the ability to push or pull as much as 6000 lb. of die weight.
