Profile Metal Forming Installs 630-Ton Aida Press

Aida-America congratulates automotive-industry supplier Profile Metal Forming Inc. on the installation of a 630-metric-ton straightside mechanical press at its facility in McKenzie, TN. The firm, which also has facilities in Newmarket, NH, and Potterville, MI, also provides engineered components and precision sheet metal fabrication services to customers in the computer hardware, appliance, office equipment, material handling, construction and telecommunications industries.

Press features include:

• 3650 by 1500-mm bed 

• Die-area lighting

• Front and rear safety light curtains with metal guards

• Four-channel forward/reverse tonnage monitor

• Automatic counterbalance control

• Automatic die-height adjustment.
