Tebis CAD/CAM Software Purchased by Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Firm

Rapid prototyping and manufacturing firm The Aria Group, Irvine, CA, has purchased one node-lock PSC seat for machining as well as various other modules and a process-simulating virtual machine (process simulator) from Tebis America.

The Aria Group provides design, engineering and manufacturing services for the transportation, aerospace and entertainment industries among others. With facilities in Irvine, CA, and Traverse City, MI, the company offers CAD and digital modeling services, three- and five-axis CNC machining, a clean room for advanced composite fabrication, Class A paint facilities, a full metal-fabrication machine shop, and hard modeling and clay modeling studios. The Tebis seat will be housed in the company’s Traverse City operation.

Tebis America, part of Tebis AG, Munich, Germany, develops CAD/CAM systems for tool, die and mold manufacturing, primarily for automobile and aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors from the styling, model making, tool and mold manufacturing sectors. The company supplies turnkey installations and also provides a full suite of 40 software modules focusing on increasing its customers’ ability to reach higher profits through consulting implementing of new technology, training and support.
