New Release of CNC-Machine-Simulation Software
December 18, 2023Comments
CGTech has released the latest version of Vericut software, 9.4.1, which simulates CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions or areas of inefficiency. Users can reduce or eliminate the process of manually proving out NC programs while reducing scrap loss and rework. The program also optimizes NC programs to save time and produce higher-quality surface finishes.
The newest features in Vericut 9.4.1 focus on increased connectivity across the manufacturing workflow, enabling users to do more with the resources they already have. The software release also includes many improvements to Vericut’s core features.
New and enhanced features include live streaming and real-time monitoring of
machines in the shop via the new CNC Machine Monitoring module; a new CNC
Precheck app that allows machinists to ensure that key aspects of the machine
setup match what was verified in Vericut, before running the machine; and enhanced
support for NC programs and machines that utilize tools mounted in multi-tool
stations.
And, with a single click, the Provide New Default Tool Data feature provides industry-standard cutting data for all cutters or inserts that can use Vericut’s Stock Material Records.
