Amada Orii America Has a New Name: Amada Press System America

Effective February 1, Amada Orii America Inc., Erlanger, KY, has changed its name to Amada Press System America Inc. Business units include Amada presses, Orii press automation equipment, and MEC spring forming machines. The new name, in line with its Japanese parent company’s current name, Amada Press System Co. Ltd., will help reduce confusion, say company officials, and help to leverage the considerable brand equity the Amada name has in its other markets. It also better represents the full “system” nature of its business, including coil handling equipment and press-to-press transfer robots.
