TriTech Titanium Parts, Spun Off from AmeriTi, Opens in Detroit

TriTech Titanium Parts opened for business this past April in Detroit, MI, to manufacture net-shape titanium parts. The company, according to president Bob Swenson, was spun off from AmeriTi Mfg., Swenson’s former company that focuses on titanium parts made from recycled material.

TriTech can produce net-shape Ti parts via an array of technologies including binder jet printing, metal injection molding and investment casting, with 3D printing as the latest addition.

"There is no one-technology-fits-all when manufacturing titanium precision parts to produce the best performance characteristics," Swenson says. "We've proven that different technologies provide different results and, therefore, we have assembled a one-stop production resource."

TriTech can meet small-batch and large-volume requirements for parts, and also provides rapid prototyping to expedite product development and component testing as well as design and production decisions. The company features a fully domestic supply chain, according to Swenson, to help ensure delivery to customers in industrial, aerospace, automotive, medical and other markets.
