May 1, 2015Comments
Stewart EFI, LLC has added 12,000 sq. ft. to its existing manufacturing operations in Thomaston, CT, bringing the total facility to 90,000 sq. ft. This expansion adds space necessary to incorporate larger-sized presses, resulting from increasing customer demands for larger-sized precision stamped and drawn metal components.
The company, with more than 250 employees and operations in Thomaston, El Paso, TX, and a joint venture in Hangzhou, China, has capabilities to produce deep-drawn, progressive and slide-formed metal components. It also can produce wire-formed parts and provide secondary machining, assemblies, and plating and metal finishing. Primary markets served by Stewart EFI include automotive, batteries, electrical, electronics, consumer goods, defense and medical products.
