Tesla to Use Outokumpu Stainless Steel for Cybertruck Panels

Bloomberg News reports that Tesla will tap Finnish stainless-steel provider Outokumpu Oyj to supply some of the panels of its new Cybertruck, expected to go into full production later this year. The report also notes that Tesla may source the stainless steel from Outokumpu’s plant in Calvert, AL, 650 mi. from Gigafactory Texas, in Austin.
