Abstracts Sought for Great Designs in Steel 2017

The Steel Market Development Institute is seeking technical-presentation abstracts for the 16th Annual Great Designs in Steel seminar, to take place Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Laurel Manor Conference Center, Livonia, MI.

The event, bringing together the automotive and steel industries, is comprised of more than 35 technical presentations and 25 displays. It serves as a forum for engineers on the subject of automotive steels, highlighting engineering, design, technology, policy and academic leaders that provide insight on the latest trends and applications in new cars and trucks. The all-day, multi-track program features industry topics on advanced high-strength steels, automotive safety and manufacturing technologies while discussing the lightweighting, durability and sustainability benefits of steel.

Abstracts should be 200 to 300 words, present facts that are new and significant, and include results achieved. Abstracts, including paper title, author name(s), mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address must be submitted by Thursday, December 1, 2016.
