Connecticut Spring & Stamping Expands Machining Capabilities

A multiaxis CNC Swiss lathe has landed on the plant floor of Connecticut Spring & Stamping (CSS), Farmington, CT. The bar-fed automatic lathe uses single-point tooling to produce intricately finished parts requiring little or no secondary finishing. CSS expects to employ the machine to manufacture invasive surgical instruments, as well as in aerospace and firearms applications.
