Braidy Industries to Build Aluminum Rolling Mill in KY

Braidy Industries Inc., South Shore, KY, a producer of aluminum products, announced that it has partnered with the state of Kentucky and the Ashland Alliance chamber of commerce, Ashland, KY, to construct a greenfield aluminum rolling mill in Greenup County, KY. The new rolling mill will produce plate aluminum and ultra-high-strength alloys for the aerospace industry, as well as sheet aluminum for the auto-body industry. Work on the $1.3 billion facility is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2018.
