AM Technical Standards Coming

The International Standards Organization (ISO) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) have joined forces to create the Additive Manufacturing Standards Development Structure (AMSDS). The new framework aims to provide industry best practices to help make 3D-printing technology more accessible. ISO and ASTM expect to use the AMSDS to generate industry standards for AM with a wide range of materials and processes, for several industries.
