United Performance Metals Acquires Fabrisonic

United Performance Metals (UPM), Cincinnati, OH, an O’Neal Industries affiliate company, has acquired Fabrisonic LLC, Columbus, OH, formerly a division of EWI before becoming an independent company in 2011. Fabrisonic developed patented processes for the joining of dissimilar metals without metallurgical mismatch issues, for industries including aerospace, defense, space and automotive. 

Fabrisonic will join UPM under the specialty processing facilities that include Precision Thin Strip, Wallingford, CT; UPM Advanced Solutions, Cincinnati, OH; and Precision Cold Saw Cutting and Grinding, Oakland, CA.
