Updated Software for AR Workflow Guiding

LightGuide, a provider of augmented-reality (AR) guides for standardize manufacturing processes, has released LightGuide 24.0, the latest version of its AR workflow software. The software streamlines workflow development with practical features that make authoring AR work instructions faster, simpler and more efficient, according to company officials, such as comparing multiple workflows in different windows and copying/pasting existing logic into new workflows.
A feature now fully integrated into LightGuide 24.0 allows users to perform SQL queries in their workflows to provide data-driven insights. Users also can gain insights into projector health and send critical performance data directly to their manufacturing execution systems and programmable logic controllers. Doing so provides proactive intelligence that anticipates maintenance issues before they disrupt workflows.
And, LightGuide enables the choice of tools to fit user needs. For example, the portfolio of camera integrations has been expanded.
