MachineMetrics features its Intelligent MES, an out-of-the-box manufacturing-execution system (MES) for discrete manufacturers. It reportedly goes beyond machine monitoring by automating data capture from machines, people, and enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) systems—turning real-time data into actionable insights to drive better production outcomes. Intelligent MES eliminates the complexity of traditional MES deployments with universal machine connectivity, clickable ERP connectors and a fully configurable app framework.

The software comprises work-order management to help manufacturers gain real-time visibility into job progress, part counts and scrap; overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and production analytics allowing automatic calculations of OEE and tracking of performance metrics across machines, jobs, shifts and operators; and downtime tracking to eliminate ambiguity around machine downtime.
