Rootstock Software has announced its Spring '25 Release, powering
its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software with a significant user-experience
(UX) enhancement as well as artificial intelligence (AI), manufacturing and financial
enhancements.
The Spring '25 Release introduces the first wave of Rootstock’s UX uplift initiative, rolling out across 200 Lightning record pages. The updated experience will be introduced in phases throughout the year and across various modules. The redesign (pictured) focuses on four key areas: clarity, efficiency, consistency and usability. These enhancements enable faster data entry, minimize clicks and screen transitions, and introduce smart layouts that adapt to the task at hand. The result: measurable productivity gains across key business processes, according to Rootstock Software officials, who note that standardizing layouts and reducing visual clutter shortens user training time. Specific improvements include cleaner layouts with improved field grouping; tabbed navigation for faster access to related information; direct form editing to reduce context switching; smart KPIs and more relevant, actionable page content; and context-appropriate buttons and simplified screen flows.
With various redesigned master pages, users can view everything from contacts and orders to pricing, credits and invoices—all in one consolidated page. Tabbed layouts surface the most relevant information, while collapsible panels provide access to additional details without overwhelming users. And, Rootstock now provides real-time inventory visibility within field service workflows, enabling technicians and dispatch teams to access the most up-to-date information.
This new release also embeds Rootstock’s Airs AI engine into Quick Entry and Quick Order screens. By analyzing customer history and common buying patterns, the AI engine recommends products, enabling sales teams to anticipate a customer’s needs and build orders faster and with greater accuracy, according to comp[any officials.
To support operational efficiency, Rootstock added new functionality across manufacturing modules. This includes distribution-requirements planning now supporting alternate items, which allows manufacturers to adapt more easily to supply-chain changes. And, notes added to requisitions automatically will carry forward to purchase-order lines to enhance procurement traceability.
Financial enhancements in this release include PO/AP Match Workbench 2.0, which replaces the legacy purchase-order/accounts-payable (PO/AP) match interface with a redesigned experience. Also, users now can save custom report filters in Rootstock Financial Analytics, suppress posting to future periods.
