Exact to Sell Macola, JobBoss and Max Units into Combination with ECi

Exact Group BV, Delft, Netherlands, a developer of cloud business software for manufacturing and other industries, agreed to sell its specialized solutions division, including Macola, JobBoss and Max, to private-equity investment group Funds Advised by Apax. Apax will combine the three ERP software units, each of which targets a specific sector of the manufacturing and distribution market, with ECi Software Solutions, Inc., Fort Worth, TX, a provider of business software for small- to medium-sized organizations.

The deal is expected to close within two months. Exact will continue to focus on growing its core global solution portfolio consisting of Exact Online, Exact Globe and Exact Synergy.
