Exact Introduces Subscription Model

Exact Software North America, Bloomington, MN, a provider of business software solutions to small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, has introduced subscription access and pricing for its JobBoss software. An Exact JobBoss subscription provides manufactures a cash-flow-friendly way to acquire enterprise-scale manufacturing ERP software, as an alternative to the typical perpetual license model.

The Exact JobBoss subscription price includes JobBoss core software plus support and maintenance. At any time during the contract term or at the end of the subscription period (a 1- or 3-yr. contract), users can renew their subscription or convert to a perpetual license. Says general manager Matthew Heerey:

“Certain custom manufacturers such as start-ups and cash-strapped job shops need all of the benefits of an ERP software solution at a low-cost point of entry. The new subscription model gives them access to business-critical software at a monthly, affordable price.”
