ECi Software Release Aligns With CNC AcademyMarch 28, 2019
JobBoss, an ECi Software Solutions company in Fort Worth, TX, has added the latest JobBoss ERP software to the Titans of CNC: Academy. Launched in early 2017 by Titan Gilroy in his CNC shop in Rocklin, CA, when he formed an alliance with JobBoss, the academy provides a learning platform for manufacturing leaders and empowers companies to train their workforces. More than 2500 educational institutions have adopted the curriculum to teach their students, and more than 120 machine shops have opened their doors to the public to train as Academy Small Groups.
Gilroy has upgraded to the latest version of JobBoss, furthering his commitment to develop ERP software best practices in his own shop and share them with academy members. “We’re completely aligned,” says Jeff Ralyea, president of ECi’s manufacturing division, “in our commitment to help manufacturers grow by filling the skills gap with young talent that comes equipped with skills developed through the Titans of CNC: Academy.”
Says Gilroy: “Your quality can be exceptional and your machining can be dialed in, but if your shop management software is the weak link, you will not be successful. Now JobBoss 2018 allows my management, shop floor and front office employees to be dialed in with continually updated shop information and take real-time actions that drive our profits and growth.”
This latest version of JobBoss enables managers to make sense of continuously expanding data and gain insights on key business metrics. All areas and levels of the business can access real-time visual information on quoting, company efficiency, job status and more. User-specific security and accessibility provides the right information to the right person and displays key information in easy-to-consume visual dashboards, according to company officials. More than 20 pre-built widgets allow JobBoss users to drill down from dashboards to individual transactions and job data.
