Stamp Tech Inc., Southington, CT, has named Steve Izzo sales and plant manager. Izzo, who has been an active board member in PMA’s Southern New England district for 28 yr., has more than three decades of experience in the metal stamping industry, including tool engineering, manufacturing engineering, project management, tool procurement, metal stamping/forming technology, equipment sales, selection/application engineering, startup, and ancillary-equipment training. In his new role, Izzo will oversee the projects and tasks of the sales team, and manage the press rebuild and repair department.
In addition, the firm has hired Harry Lawson as a sales and applications engineer. He holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and has been in sales for 40 years, with experience in application engineering, technical support in the machine-tool industry, safety guarding, and the design-automation industry.
