Carby Welcomes New Plant Manager to Leadership Team

Deep-draw metal former The Carby Corporation, Watertown, CT, has added Salvatore Solla to its leadership team as plant manager. Solla brings nearly 30 yr. of hands-on experience in toolmaking and manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on precision and problem-solving. His background includes working at his family’s manufacturing business, Solla Eyelet Products, which used similar deep-drawn manufacturing technology to Carby. 

As plant manager, Salvatore oversees production, coordinates projects, enforces production goals, ensures quality standards and collaborates with leadership to improve the production process. His priorities include building relationships with employees, streamlining operations, reducing inefficiencies and ensuring Carby meets its sales goals.

The company serves the aerospace, automotive, communications and healthcare markets.
