Elcogen named to Time Magazine's World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025’

Elcogen, hydrogen fuel-cell OEM, has been listed on TIME Magazine’s “World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025,” for its development of green hydrogen production used to power green steel.

Elcogen develops solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis technologies that produce green hydrogen and zero-emission electricity for various sectors. Green hydrogen derived from renewable energy sources is especially key to decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors, such as steel production, according to the company.

The company's patented components are used in third-party systems for applications such as combined heat and power generation, green hydrogen production, renewable energy storage, and syngas production for synthetic fuels and chemicals.

The recognition, culled from a field of 8000 companies, highlights companies worldwide that are significantly contributing to reducing the environmental impact of human activities.

Elcogen investors include Baker Hughes and HD Hyundai.
