Burloak Tool & Die Acquires Cadtek Inc.

Burloak Tool & Die, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has acquired Toronto-based metal stamper Cadtek Inc., “a pivotal moment in our company's growth trajectory," says Burloak Tool president and CEO Sean Brown. “It aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions to the industry.” Burloak customers will enjoy the company’s enhanced capacity and product offerings, including Cadtek’s post-stamping value-added services including welding and small-lot packaging. The firm is a registered Controlled Goods supplier and provides comprehensive die-repair services.

Operations will be optimized across the facilities, say company officials, along with a third site yet to be named. And in cases where one plant or the other has operational capacity on newer equipment, some redundant equipment will be replaced and/or upgraded.
