Sustainability Certification for Manufacturers’ Supply Chain Distribution Launches
March 6, 2025Comments
Ducker Carlisle, a U.S.-based global market research, strategy consulting and M&A advisory firm, now offers certification that recognizes manufacturers for implementing sustainable management practices in the distribution segment of their supply chains.
The certification tracks manufacturers' efforts to reduce their carbon footprint in warehousing, packaging and outbound transportation. It helps companies demonstrate their progress toward meeting corporate sustainability goals, the firm says.
"Accreditations like LEED, UL 2809, ISO 14001 and EcoVadis are valuable indicators of different aspects of an organization's sustainability efforts, but until now no certification has focused specifically on distribution practices that can play a vital role in reducing a company's greenhouse gas emissions," says Ducker Carlisle’s Nate Chenenko.
Supply Score Certification is open to manufacturers in any industry sector. For more information, email nchenenko@duckercarlisle.com.
