Lube Firms Quaker, Houghton Combine
August 23, 2019Comments Quaker Chemical Corp. and Houghton International, both providers of industrial-process fluids, have combined to create Quaker Houghton. Along with the new name, the Conshohocken, PA-based company revealed a new logo and brand representing the combined companies. The newly formed $1.6-billion company employs 4000 associates serving 15,000 customers worldwide. Quaker was founded in 1918 and Houghton in 1865.
