Amsoil Launches Business Unit to Serve Large B2B CustomersSeptember 22, 2021
Amsoil Inc., Superior, WI, a supplier of synthetic lubricants, has launched Amsoil Industrial, a new business unit dedicated to serving large business-to-business customers. Amsoil Industrial customers can expect strong partnerships, including consultative onsite analysis and support from Certified Lubrication Specialists on staff, according to VP, Industrial Dave Meyer, who adds: “It’s standard to begin every relationship with a plant audit.”
Initially, Amsoil Industrial will focus on customers in metal stamping, plastic injection molding, power generation, and general construction-equipment manufacturing.
In North America, Amsoil sells consumer products through an independent dealer network. That is not changing, according to company president and CEO Alan Amatuzio, who notes that Amsoil Industrial will serve B2B customers with a corporate sales team. “Our commitment to our independent dealers is unwavering,” says Amatuzio. “But large B2B relationships require deeper corporate interaction and carry greater liability, demanding the attention of a dedicated corporate sales force.”
