Nitrex Heattreating Facility Earns Nadcap Reaccreditation

The Nitrex Heat Treating Services (HTS) facility in Franklin, IN, has received Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) accreditation for the following processes: heattreating for multiple alloy families, stress relieving, carburizing, nitriding, vacuum heat treating, hardness and metallography. The firm, whose HTS facility in Queretaro, MX, also is Nadcap accredited, operates three business units–Nitrex Turnkey System (NTS), manufacturing turnkey nitriding, nitrocarburizing, and vacuum systems; HTS, a global network of commercial heattreating service centers; and UPC, a provider of controls upgrades and automation solutions for heattreating and combustion.
