Charlotte, NC-based Tesa Tape, Inc. added a new product to its existing line of protective tapes and films, to serve as a protective shield against damage to manufactured or transported goods. Tesa 4848 PV1, a surface-protection film with unique features, ensures protection against stains, scratches, dirt, dust and paint spills on virtually any surface.

Constructed with a distinctive polyethylene backing with intrinsic protectors against UV rays, it acts as a sunscreen for as long as four weeks of UV light exposure. Additionally, its unique acrylic-based adhesive system ensures a solid bond to a myriad of surfaces, yet removes completely clean when time for removal. The adhesive is even resistant to moisture, affording it exposure to humid environments.
