Fabricator to Open Big-Time Powder-Coating Facility

Chief Fabrication, Grand Island, NE, a division of Chief Industries, will soon open a new powder-coat facility said to be one of the largest in the United States. The facility, capable of applying primer and top coat in one pass to parts as long as 17 ft., features a 170-ft. seven-stage stainless-steel cleaning system and 1300-lb. part capacity. Line speed peaks at 12 ft./min.
